An inverse boundary value problem for transverse vibrations of a bar
In this article, we study an inverse problem (IP) for a fourth-order hyperbolic equation with nonlocal boundary conditions. This IP is reduced to the not self-adjoint boundary value problem (BVP) with corresponding boundary condition.

Nonlocal Inverse Problem for a Pseudohyperbolic- Pseudoelliptic Type Integro-Differential Equations
The questions of solvability of a nonlocal inverse boundary value problem for a mixed pseudohyperbolic-pseudoelliptic integro-differential equation with spectral parameters are considered.

Trial methods for Bernoulli's free boundary problem [PDF]
Free boundary problems deal with solving partial differential equations in a domain, a part of whose boundary is unknown – the so-called free boundary. Beside the standard boundary conditions that are needed in order to solve the partial differential ...

Approximation of the inverse elliptic problem with mixed boundary value conditions and overdetermination [PDF]
In the present study, the inverse problem for a multidimensional elliptic equation with mixed boundary conditions and overdetermination is considered. The first and second orders of accuracy in t and the second order of accuracy in space variables for ...

Stabilization of the trial method for the Bernoulli problem in case of prescribed Dirichlet data [PDF]
We apply the trial method for the solution of Bernoulli’s free boundary problem when the Dirichlet boundary condition is imposed for the solution of the underlying Laplace equation and the free boundary is updated according to the Neumann boundary ...

The inverse problem of finding the initial distribution has been studied on the basis of formulas for the solution of the first initial-boundary value problem for the inhomogeneous two-dimentional heat equation. The uniqueness of the solution of the direct

In this paper, we consider the inverse problem for semilinear ultraparabolic equation. The equation has two unknown functions of different arguments in its minor coefficient and in right-hand side function.

Inverse Problem For Dirichlet Boundary Value Problems
In this article we consider Sturm-Liouville operator with $q\in W_{1}^{2}[0,1]$ and Dirichlet boundary conditions. We prove that if the set $\{(nπ)^{2}:n\in \mathbb{N}\}$ is a subset of the spectrum of the Sturm-Liouville operator with Dirichlet boundary conditions, then $q=0$ a.e.
