3He NMR in porous media: Inverse Laplace transformation [PDF]

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Solids - Electronic Journal, Volume 11, No. 2, pages 33-37 (2009), 2010
For the first time the inverse Laplace transform was applied for analysis of 3He relaxation in porous media. It was shown that inverse Laplace transform gives new information about these systems. The uniform-penalty algorithm has been performed to obtain the 3He relaxation times distribution in pores of clay sample.

Deep Reinforcement Learning‐Based Control for Real‐Time Hybrid Simulation of Civil Structures

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Real‐time Hybrid Simulation (RTHS) is a cyber‐physical technique that studies the dynamic behavior of a system by combining physical and numerical components that are coupled through a boundary condition enforcer. In structural engineering, the numerical components are subjected to environmental loads that become dynamic displacements of the ...

Heat transfer and second order slip effect on MHD flow of fractional Maxwell fluid in a porous medium

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Science, 2020
This work explores the effect of second order slip on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a fractional Maxwell fluid on a moving plate and a comparison between two numerical algorithms (Tzou and Stehfest’s algorithm).

Nonfragile Sliding Mode Control of Fractional‐Order Complex Networked Systems via Combination Event‐Triggered Approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This work addresses the problem of developing a nonfragile sliding mode observer for fractional‐order complex networked systems (FO‐CNS) under stochastic network attacks. The proposed approach employs a combination of event‐triggered techniques. First, a nonfragile fractional‐order state observer is developed, enabling the design of a suitable

Evaluation of Two Tension Sensors for Cable‐Driven Parallel Manipulators

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cable‐driven parallel manipulators (CDPMs) constitute a class of parallel robots in which the frame is connected to the end‐effector through a set of cables. The weight reduction achieved by replacing rigid links with cables, along with their exceptionally large workspace, makes CDPMs suitable for applications such as positioning devices ...

Alternative Method for Determining the Feynman Propagator of a Non-Relativistic Quantum Mechanical Problem

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2007
A direct procedure for determining the propagator associated with a quantum mechanical problem was given by the Path Integration Procedure of Feynman. The Green function, which is the Fourier Transform with respect to the time variable of the propagator,

Numerical inversion of Laplace transform

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1969
An explicit formula for the inversion of the Laplace transform is derived. The formula permits the inverse to be readily evaluated numerically.
