Inversion method and superconductivity

Physical Review B, 1992
The inversion method is based on an inverted relation between the external probe and some order parameter. When the lowest-order relation of the inverted series is applied to the equilibrium BCS theory of superconductivity, our results reproduce the mean-field gap equation.

Filtering inverse method

Inverse Problems, 1987
An exact inverse method - the filtering inverse method - is proposed for the nonequal travel-time layered model, and a set of recurrence formulae have been given for computing the reflection coefficient \(r_ k\) and impedance \(\eta_ k\) of each interface.

Semiclassical inversion methods

1991
Abstract Semiclassical inversion methods rely on phase integral expressions that connect potential energy functions to the various quantization integrals, phase shifts and matrix elements. The forms prove to be amenable to a family of exact Abelian integral transforms, which allow recovery of the classical turning points of the potential

Seismic Inversion Methods

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2009
With the rapid advances in sophisticated solar modeling and the abundance of high‐quality solar pulsation data, efficient and robust inversion techniques are crucial for seismic studies. We present some aspects of an efficient Fourier Optimally Localized Averaging (OLA) inversion method with an example applied to time‐distance helioseismology.

The Inverse Method

2001
There are several methods of theorem proving. The best known methods are resolution-based and tableau-based ones. Resolution-based methods convert the goal formula into clausal norm form and perform derivation on the set of clauses using a saturation algorithm.

A Method of Inversion

The Mathematical Gazette, 1942
If from a point, regarded as a centre of inversion, a radius is drawn on which are two points at distances r 1 and r 2 from the centre, satisfying the condition r 1

The Inverse Method

2013
This book introduces state-of-the-art verification techniques for real time embedded systems, based on the inverse method for parametric timed automata. It reviews popular formalisms for the specification and the verification of timed concurrent systems, and in particular timed automata and several extensions such as timed automata equipped with ...
