In this work, we develop a rigorous framework partially unifying classical electromagnetism and relativistic quantum mechanics through the language of Schwartz Linear Algebra and via continuous symmetries of the 2-sphere.

ABSTRACT Innovation is essential for competitiveness in agribusiness facing dynamic environments. This study examines how market orientation, marketing, relational, and social capabilities influence innovation performance. Using data from 751 Spanish firms and a multi‐method approach that integrates Structural Equation Modeling (PLS‐SEM), Necessary ...

Quantum Computational Complexity of Matrix Functions
We investigate the dividing line between classical and quantum computational power in estimating properties of matrix functions. More precisely, we study the computational complexity of two primitive problems: given a function f and a Hermitian matrix A,

Uniform bounds on the 1-norm of the inverse of lower triangular Toeplitz matrices
A uniform bound on the 1-norm is given for the inverse of a lower triangular Toeplitz matrix with non-negative monotonically decreasing entries whose limit is zero. The new bound is sharp under certain specified constraints.

Smoothed-adaptive perturbed inverse iteration for elliptic eigenvalue problems
We present a perturbed subspace iteration algorithm to approximate the lowermost eigenvalue cluster of an elliptic eigenvalue problem. As a prototype, we consider the Laplace eigenvalue problem posed in a polygonal domain.

ABSTRACT Hybrid modeling combines first‐principles equations with a data‐driven subcomponent. Training for the data‐driven part is sensitive to measurement noise when training targets are constructed using pointwise time derivatives. Beyond differentiation errors, hybrid models involve solving an inverse problem to estimate the data‐driven term, which ...

The Inverse and General Inverse of Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers with Modified Elementary Row Operations
Trapezoidal positive/negative fuzzy numbers have no single definition; instead, various authors define them in relation to different concepts. This means that arithmetic operations for trapezoidal fuzzy numbers also differ. For the operations of addition,

Minimizing the condition number of a positive definite matrix by completion
Elsner L, He C, Mehrmann V. Minimizing the condition number of a positive definite matrix by completion. Numerische Mathematik. 1994;69(1):17-23.We consider the problem of minimizing the spectral condition number of a positive definite matrix by ...

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

AbstractIn this paper, we propose a method for estimating the algebraic Riccati equation (ARE) with respect to an unknown discrete-time system from the system state and input observation. The inverse optimal control (IOC) problem asks, “What objective function is optimized by a given control system?” The inverse linear quadratic regulator (ILQR ...
