Abstract Integrating the attention‐based view with the strategic leadership interfaces perspective, we propose a theoretical model of situational urgency mechanisms influencing the allocation of CEOs' attention towards responsive actions. Specifically, we theorize upon the role of humility, which leads CEOs towards embracing interfaces and makes them ...

Dominance and Prestige Motivations to Lead in Adolescence
ABSTRACT Introduction Dual strategy frameworks of motivation to lead differentiate Dominance motivations, which leverage fear and control to gain power and status, from Prestige motivations, which rely on respect and trust. Substantial research on these motivational pathways has been conducted in adults, but no empirical research studies them earlier ...

Arithmetic Brownian motion subordinated by tempered stable and inverse tempered stable processes [PDF]
In the last decade the subordinated processes have become popular and found many practical applications. Therefore in this paper we examine two processes related to time-changed (subordinated) classical Brownian motion with drift (called arithmetic Brownian motion).

On the Existence of One‐Sided Representations for the Generalised Dynamic Factor Model
ABSTRACT We study the Generalised Dynamic Factor Model (GDFM) and show that the dynamic common component, that is, the common component of the GDFM, can be expressed using only current and past observations under mild assumptions. Specifically, we require (i) the dynamic common component to be purely non‐deterministic and (ii) the exclusion of ...

Abstract Parallel tracking of distant relations between speech elements, so‐called nonadjacent dependencies (NADs), is crucial in language development but computationally demanding and acquired only in late preschool years. As processing of single NADs is facilitated when dependent elements are perceptually similar, we investigated how phonetic ...

Abstract We investigated the structural framework of the north–northwestern Paraná Basin in Brazil to test whether the pre‐impact structures in this region may have had any influence on the first‐order formation and morphostructure of the Araguainha impact structure (AIS).

Noncentral moderate deviations for time-changed Lévy processes with inverse of stable subordinators
This paper presents some extensions of recent noncentral moderate deviation results. In the first part, the results in [Statist. Probab. Lett. 185, Paper No. 109424, 8 pp. (2022)] are generalized by considering a general Lévy process $\{S(t):t\ge 0\}$ instead of a compound Poisson process.

Racial Inequality, Growth and Distribution
ABSTRACT A post‐Keynesian‐Kaleckian model along structuralist lines is developed to incorporate the issue of racial inequality into the analysis of growth and distribution. It draws on ideas presented in the literature about the relationship between class inequality between capitalists and workers, and racial inequality between White and Black workers,
