Joint use of two-dimensional tomography and ISAR imaging for three-dimensional image formation of non-cooperative targets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A tomographic approach is proposed in this paper to form three-dimensional Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) images of non-cooperative moving targets. A 2D ISAR image is generated for each transmit/receive element of two orthogonal arrays.

Multichannel/Multistatic Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar [PDF]

open access: yes
Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) has proven capabilities for non-cooperative target recognition (NCTR) applications. This sensing imaging technique has been able to provide operational information in a robust manner.

Inverse-synthetic-aperture imaging of trees over a ground plane [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Recent data collections with the Sandia VHF-UHF synthetic-aperture radar have yielded surprising results; trees appear brighter in the images than expected!

High Resolution Bistatic ISAR Imaging of Space Objects [PDF]

open access: yes
13451350Monostatic ISAR (Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar) imaging provides high-resolution images of objects based on their relative motion with respect to the radar system. These images can be used for satellite identification and characterization. The
