One-degree resolution mascon solution over Antarctic derived from GRACE Level-2 data
The mass loss of the Antarctic Ice Sheet (AIS) is an important contributor to global sea-level rise in response to the warming ocean and atmospheric temperatures as well as the changes in current systems and precipitation patterns.

Estimating the Net Magnetic Moment of Geological Samples From Planar Field Maps Using Multipoles
Recent advances in magnetic microscopy have enabled studies of geological samples whose weak and spatially nonuniform magnetizations were previously inaccessible to standard magnetometry techniques.

Inverse Unit Teissier Distribution: Theory and Practical Examples
In this paper, we emphasize a new one-parameter distribution with support as [1,+∞). It is constructed from the inverse method applied to an understudied one-parameter unit distribution, the unit Teissier distribution.

A theory of truncated inverse sampling [PDF]
In this paper, we have established a new framework of truncated inverse sampling for estimating mean values of non-negative random variables such as binomial, Poisson, hyper-geometrical, and bounded variables. We have derived explicit formulas and computational methods for designing sampling schemes to ensure prescribed levels of precision and ...

Direct spectra of Bishop spaces and their limits [PDF]
We apply fundamental notions of Bishop set theory (BST), an informal theory that complements Bishop's theory of sets, to the theory of Bishop spaces, a function-theoretic approach to constructive topology.

Imaging of fast moving electron-density structures in the polar cap
The imaging of fast-moving electron-density structures in the polar cap presents a unique set of challenges that are not encountered in other ionospheric imaging problems.

Inverse transport theory of photoacoustics [PDF]
We consider the reconstruction of optical parameters in a domain of interest from photoacoustic data. Photoacoustic tomography (PAT) radiates high frequency electromagnetic waves into the domain and measures acoustic signals emitted by the resulting thermal expansion. Acoustic signals are then used to construct the deposited thermal energy map.
