Inverting non-invertible labeled trees
Australas. J Comb., 2019Summary: If a graph with non-zero edge weights has a non-singular adjacency matrix, one may use the inverse matrix to define a (weighted) graph that may be viewed as the inverse graph to the original one. It has been known that an adjacency matrix of a weighted tree is non-singular if and only if the tree has a unique perfect matching.

The author presents the anatomic, embryologic, and etiologic aspects and treatment of the inverted nipple. The Pitanguy technique for correction of this deformity consists of direct cutting of the fibromuscular tilts that hold the nipple in an inverted position, by means of a transareolomamillar incision.Associated mammary hypoplasia is corrected by ...

Abstract As best I can determine, the idea of spectrum inversion made its first appearance in the philosophical literature when John Locke, in the Essay, entertained the possibility that “the same Object should produce in several Men’s Minds different Ideas at the same time; e.g.

The problem of the “tippe-top” has been discussed in several papers, one by Synge makes the assumption of rolling and discovers instability when the axis is vertical with the peg up, but requires as a necessary condition that the top be not a solid of revolution. Since it appears that as far as is constructionally possible the top is axially symmetric,

This chapter analyzes how specific spaces function in Gaiman's mirror-worlds in Neverwhere, MirrorMask, in conjunction with the main characters in each. A brief theoretical framework compares the general aspects of the two texts, and then moves forward to explore what space does in Gaiman's narratives along with how the main characters interact with ...
