Graph Invertibility

open access: yesGraphs and Combinatorics, 2013
Extending the work of Godsil and others, we investigate the notion of the inverse of a graph (specifically, of bipartite graphs with a unique perfect matching). We provide a concise necessary and sufficient condition for the invertibility of such graphs and generalize the notion of invertibility to multigraphs.

Invertibility in L-Topological Spaces

open access: yesFuzzy Information and Engineering, 2014
In this paper, we extend the concept of invertibility to L-topological spaces and delineate its properties. Then, we study further completely invertible L-topological spaces and introduce two types of invertible L-topologies based on the inverting maps ...

Structural Invertibility and Optimal Sensor Node Placement for Error and Input Reconstruction in Dynamic Systems

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2019
Despite recent progress in our understanding of complex dynamic networks, it remains challenging to devise sufficiently accurate models to observe, control, or predict the state of real systems in biology, economics, or other fields. A largely overlooked

The Determinants, Inverses, Norm, and Spread of Skew Circulant Type Matrices Involving Any Continuous Lucas Numbers

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We consider the skew circulant and skew left circulant matrices with any continuous Lucas numbers. Firstly, we discuss the invertibility of the skew circulant matrices and present the determinant and the inverse matrices by constructing the ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Asset price dynamics in a financial market with fundamentalists and chartists

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2001
In this paper we consider a model of the dynamics of speculative markets involving the interaction of fundamentalists and chartists. The dynamics of the model are driven by a two-dimensional map that in the space of the parameters displays regions of ...

Decision Algorithms for Reversibility of One-dimensional Non-linear Cellular Automata Under Null Boundary Conditions [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
The property of reversibility is quite meaningful for the classic theoretical computer science model, cellular automata. For the reversibility problem for a CA under null boundary conditions, while linear rules have been extensively studied, the non-linear ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Circulant Type Matrices with the Sum and Product of Fibonacci and Lucas Numbers

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Circulant type matrices have become an important tool in solving differential equations. In this paper, we consider circulant type matrices, including the circulant and left circulant and g-circulant matrices with the sum and product of Fibonacci and ...
