Invertor compensation in Germany

Institute of Legal Myongji University
In Germany, company employees who make invention during the term of their employment, so-called “service inventions”, are subject to the German Act on Employee Inventions, which regulates the rights and obligations of both employees and employers. There are statutory guidelines as to the amount of compensation the inventor should be paid.

Invertor-fed synchronous motors with induced excitation

Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1974
Invertor-fed brushless synchronous motors are described, in which the harmonic content of typical invertor-supply waveforms is utilised to produce rotor excitation in wound rotors with shaft-mounted diodes. Particular attention is paid to a 3-phase star-connected rotor, connected to two diodes, and a salient-pole rotor with a single diode.

Optimal surplus harmonic energy distribution [in PWM invertors]

IECON '98. Proceedings of the 24th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (Cat. No.98CH36200), 2002
A new optimal programmed PWM technique is described. The voltage total harmonic distortion at the output of an L-C filter connected to a PWM inverter is minimized. The proposed technique can be directly applied to constant frequency, constant amplitude sinusoidal power supplies such as uninterruptible power supplies.

Reliability of Isokinetic Torque Values for Ankle Invertors and Evertors

Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, 1990
Partially funded through a grant from the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, School of Physical Therapy Alumni Association. The main purposes of this study were to determine the reliability of an isokinetic, inversion/eversion torque test with and without range of motion targets, as well as to assess the effects of a plantarflexion position and of limb ...

Magnetic-film-controlled invertor and isolator

Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1964
The paper describes the principle of operation of an arrangement of conductors that is closely coupled to a magnetic film and can act as a signal invertor, modulator or isolator. The transmission characteristic is determined by the currents flowing in control conductors, which alter the film permeability.

Static-invertor systems tor emergency supplies

Electronics and Power, 1973
If the power supply to a hospital operating theatre fails, the consequences can be fatal. In industry, the loss of power can have serious economic consequences. Standby supplies are therefore an essential part of industry, and static-invertor systems are one possibility.

Static invertors for A.C. power supplies

Electronics and Power, 1975
Static invertors are increasingly attracting interest as a reliable and economic means of providing a.c. supplies both in industry and for aircraft and marine applications. This article reviews the present status of static invertors and discusses the economic considerations involved in their ...

New 3-phase invertor with three thyristors

Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1971
A 3-phase invertor with three thyristors is described, superior in performance to its conventional counterpart. It is suitable for various types of load, including induction motors, in which a special winding permits further simplification of the circuit.

Analytical methods for invertor-fed induction motors

Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1975
Invertor voltage waveforms for variable-frequency inductionmotor drives are frequently of a discontinuous form. One approach to steady-state analysis is to approximate periodic waveforms by a truncated Fourier series. As a less restrictive alternative, suitable for those commonly occurring cases where the piece-wise continuous sections can be described
