The invertor knock-in conditional chromosomal translocation mimic
Nature Methods, 2004Knock-in models of tumor-specific chromosomal translocations can generate lethal mutations. To circumvent this, a new conditional gene fusion model has been developed (invertor mice) and exemplified with the Ews-ERG fusion oncogene. An ERG segment, flanked by loxP sites, was knocked in to an intron of the Ews gene but in an inverted transcription ...

A MOST invertor with improved switching speed
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1972A modified MOST invertor circuit consisting of a driver, load, and bias MOST is proposed. The gate voltage of the load MOST is supplied by the bias MOST. This leads to an improvement of both the output pulse height and the switching speed if the circuit is applied in dynamic logic.

Rectifier/invertor reactive component minimization
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1989The problem of filter-component placement is considered in connection with the size and cost minimization of the reactive elements in a rectifier/inverter. First, the optimal placement is found for the filter elements. Given the terminal constraints, two circuit topologies are possible: one with a capacitor filter on the DC side and the other with it ...

Static-invertor power supplies
Electronics and Power, 1975Applications for static-invertor power supplies can range from simple emergency-lighting systems to the more ‘complex needs of a computer system or process-control equipment. But behind each application is the question: ‘Is it cost-effective?’

Invertor drives for induction motors
Students Quarterly Journal, 1972Induction motors have many advantages for industrial use, but the only simple and efficient way of controlling their speed is by using static invertors to supply them with variable-frequency, variable-voltage a.c.

Reliability of Isokinetic Torque Values for Ankle Invertors and Evertors
Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, 1990Partially funded through a grant from the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, School of Physical Therapy Alumni Association. The main purposes of this study were to determine the reliability of an isokinetic, inversion/eversion torque test with and without range of motion targets, as well as to assess the effects of a plantarflexion position and of limb ...
