This study aims to provide a quantitative analysis of the amino acids (AAs) and fatty acids (FAs) found in by‐products of the Patagonian marine polychaete Abarenicola pusilla. Monitoring vertebrate biodiversity of a protected coastal wetland using eDNA metabarcoding
We test an eDNA metabarcoding assay as a tool to characterize vertebrate biodiversity in one of the largest coastal wetlands of Chile. We sampled surface water from 49 sites along the entire length of the wetland and detect 91 genera of vertebrates including amphibians, fishes, mammals, and birds.
