An investigation into intermittency [PDF]
Zeitschrift fr Physik C Particles and Fields, 1992 The results of an investigation based on ALEPH data,e+e− → hadrons at\(\sqrt s = 91\) GeV, into fluctuations in rapidity space are presented. It is found that the behaviour of the factorial moments is well represented by the Lund parton shower model. An estimate is made of the scale of fluctuations needed to describe the data.D. DECAMP, B. Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...Michael Abele, Calogero Virgone, Michaela Kuhlen, Sabine Irtan, Yves Reguerre, Malgorzata Krawczyk, Ewa Bien, Tal Ben‐Ami, Maja Cesen, Ricardo Lopez‐Almaraz, Andrea Ferrari, Gianni Bisogno, Dominik T. Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...Hailey M. Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing Sarah Kappa, Shou Xu, Mark Zobeck, Sarah E. Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.Janna R. Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...Sofie Johansson Alm, Bea Tornberg, Erik Delsing Malmberg, Henrik Hasle, Kristian Løvvik Juul‐Dam, Lars Palmqvist, Borhan R. Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...Laura Almási, Bernadett Borbála Huszti, Gábor Barna, Marko Kavcic, Janez Jazbec, Lennart Lenk, Vera Münch, Sophia Polychronopoulou, Ágnes Márk, Maria Thastrup, Lüder H. Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic, 1985 More than 25 years ago, B. Sobociński published his investigations in protothetic based on the (now standard) single axiom \(A_ n\). In the article under review the author reproves the metarules SI-SV of Sobociński and shows that the usual laws of implication (modus ponens, and equivalences simulating the truth-table of implication) can be derived from openaire +3 more sources
