The opto‐electronic response of polycrystalline (PEA)2PbBr4 thin films is investigated by correlating macroscopic photodetector performance with nanoscale mapping techniques. Grain boundary density is systematically tuned through crystallization control and linked to device responsivity.

Western enterprises on eastern markets: The German perspective [PDF]
The paper offers a vision of the future of cross-border activities between Germany and the Central and East European reform countries. It provides a comprehensive theoretical framework and it presents some stylized facts.

This study compares indoor low‐light and outdoor high‐light degradation in perovskite thin films. Under ∼1000 lux [N2], films remain stable; in oxygen, the same low light triggers strain, surface oxidation, and shorter lifetimes. Whereas high light accelerates decomposition to PbI2 and metallic oxides.

Intrinsic Business Cycles with Pro-Cyclical R&D [PDF]
Recent empirical work finds that R&D expenditures are quite procyclical, even for firms that are not redit-constrained during downturns. This has been taken as strong evidence against Schumpeterian-style theories of business cycles that emphasize the ...

Auto‐Routing Fluidic Printed Circuit Boards
This work introduces (STREAM) software tool for routing efficiently advanced macrofluidics, an open‐source software tool for automating the design of 3D‐printable fluidic circuit boards. STREAM streamlines tube routing and layout, enabling the rapid fabrication of fluidic networks for soft robotics, lab‐on‐a‐chip devices, microfluidics, and biohybrid ...

Liquid Crystalline Elastomers in Soft Robotics: Assessing Promise and Limitations
Liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs) are programmable soft materials that undergo large, anisotropic deformation in response to external stimuli. Their molecular alignment encodes directional actuation in a monolithic structure, making them long‐standing candidates for soft robotic systems.

This work develops dynamically softening polyacrylamide hydrogels for time‐resolved imaging during continuous mechanical transitions. The study revealed that mechanotransduction is biphasic; YAP/TAZ inactivation is driven by early loss of the nucleocytoskeletal continuum connecting subnuclear adhesions, F‐actin, and the nuclear envelope, coupled with ...
