Scalable Upcycling of Spent Lithium‐Ion Battery Anodic Graphite to Electronic‐Grade Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphite anodes from spent lithium‐ion batteries are upcycled into electronic‐grade graphene nanoplatelets for highly conductive screen printing inks (> 104 S m−1). Screen‐printed micro‐supercapacitors confirm the utility of the upcycled graphene (1.78 mF/cm2 capacitance for > 10 000 cycles). Life cycle assessment and techno‐economic analysis highlight

Variables Effecting Casting Accuracy of Quick Heating Casting Investments.

open access: yesTHE JOURNAL OF THE STOMATOLOGICAL SOCIETY,JAPAN, 1994
Recently, several new products of investments for "quick heating" have been put on the Japanese market. The total casting procedure time for this quick heating method involves only one hour; 30-minutes waiting after the start of mixing before placing the mold directly into the 700 degrees C furnace and 30-minutes heating in the furnace.

Understanding the Interplay Between Thermal Activation, Diffusion, and Phase Segregation of Molecular Dopants Blended with Polymeric Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The use of air stable but thermally labile molecules provides an efficient strategy for the N‐type doping of organic semiconductors with relatively low electron affinities. Design criteria for efficient dopants should also take into account diffusion and phase segregation that cannot be decoupled from thermally activated doping.

Non‐Uniform Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation for Low‐Complexity Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A diagnostic method for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) based on non‐uniform space‐time‐coding modulation is presented. Fault localization is achieved via amplitude‐only spectral measurements, eliminating the need for complex signal processing. A one‐to‐one mapping between harmonic components and RIS elements enables accurate detection.
