Biomimetic Adaptive Hydrothermal Balance Fabric‐Based Dual‐Interface Solar Evaporator for Efficient and Stable Desalination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines the biological structure of octopuses with the “3D structure” of spacer fabrics to fabricate a dual‐interface solar evaporator with adaptive hydrothermal balance. Water adaptation is achieved through the differentiated design of the upper and lower layers, and dynamic hydrothermal balance is realized by dynamically regulating the ...

ACCESS TO CAPITAL AND FIRM-LEVEL INVESTMENT BEHAVIOR IN FOOD INDUSTRIES: A COMPARISON OF COOPERATIVES AND PUBLICLY TRADED FIRMS [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper compares investment behavior of agricultural cooperatives and publicly traded firms in the food industry. The importance of financial constraints is examined by exploring whether ownership structure affects investment sensitivity to cash flow ...

The Platform to Characterizing the Thermoelectric Materials by Photo‐Crosslinked Ionic Gel Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The device platform, which utilizes a photo‐crosslinked ionic gel electrolyte with a broad range of oxidation and reduction capabilities, can effectively evaluate and screen the thermoelectric material candidates with high potential across a wide range of doping levels, thereby minimizing the effort required to identify dopants compatible with ...

Understanding the Interplay Between Thermal Activation, Diffusion, and Phase Segregation of Molecular Dopants Blended with Polymeric Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The use of air stable but thermally labile molecules provides an efficient strategy for the N‐type doping of organic semiconductors with relatively low electron affinities. Design criteria for efficient dopants should also take into account diffusion and phase segregation that cannot be decoupled from thermally activated doping.
