Postprivatization Corporate Governance: the Role of Ownership Structure and Investor Protection [PDF]
We investigate the role of ownership structure and investor protection in postprivatization corporate governance. We find that the government relinquishes control over time, mainly to the benefit of local institutions and foreign investors.
