The design of a context-aware service system in intelligent transportation system

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2017
Various sensors have achieved large-scale deployment as important data sources in intelligent transportation systems, and abundant data are generated and processed into useful information and new services. The means by which to make effective use of this

Geometrically Encoded Positioning of Introns, Intergenic Segments, and Exons in the Human Genome

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a new hypothesis: exons, introns, and intergenic segments are non‐random projections of the functional layers of 3D structure of chromatin packing domains. Evidence is presented that this “geometric code” may encode volumetric structure, reconciling epigenetic patterns, correlates with oncogenic mutations, acting as a potential ...

CHB‐Induced Immune Zonation Chaos Elicited LXRα‐mediated Lipid Metabolism Disorders in Kupffer Cells to Induce Cancer Stem Cell Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By profiling the spatiotemporal hepatic landscape of CHB mouse models, the originally peri‐portal localized KCs migrated to the peri‐central in a CXCL9‐CXCR3‐dependent manner, facilitating their interaction with HBV+ hepatocytes. The interaction promoted LMD in KCs through ASGR1‐induced LXRα degradation, which, in turn, induced CSC formation via Stat3 ...

ACSL5 Regulates Glucose Metabolism and Chemotherapy Sensitivity in Colorectal Cancer Cells under Glutamine Deficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glutamine deprivation triggers ACSL5 upregulation in tumor cells, sustaining their viability via dual metabolic rewiring programs. ACSL5 enhances glycolysis by relieving p53's inhibition of PGAM1 while also sustaining mitochondrial respiration and TCA cycle flux through promoting IDH2 dimerization.

ABOUT THE EPIC INVOCATION

open access: yesCadernos de Letras da UFF, 2013
This study proposes a theoretical reflection on the epic invocation, feature traditionally present in the epics. Using epic works of different eras and origins, which not only corroborate the use of the epic invocation but also demonstrate that the epic ...

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

Domestication of Tartary Buckwheat Shaped a Regulatory Module for Seedling Salt Tolerance by Targeting the Magnesium Transporter Gene FtMGT2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Domestication of Tartary buckwheat is selected for a salt tolerance mechanism involving the magnesium transporter FtMGT2. Its expression is controlled by the FtAGL16‐FtMYB15L module, which is stabilized under salt stress through a competitive interaction that blocks its degradation by the E3 ligase FtBRG1, ultimately boosting Na⁺ efflux and plant ...
