7-Aminoheptylazanium iodide [PDF]
The absolute structure of the title compound, [H(3)N-(CH(2))(7)-NH(2)]I, has been determined from the diffraction experiment, the Flack parameter refining to −0.02 (2). In the crystal, adjacent symmetry-related cations are connected by head-to-tail R′H(2)N(+)—H⋯NH(2) R hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [010].

Inversion symmetry and bulk Rashba effect in methylammonium lead iodide perovskite single crystals
Methylammonium lead iodide perovskite (MAPbI3) exhibits long charge carrier lifetimes that are linked to its high efficiency in solar cells. Yet, the mechanisms governing these unusual carrier dynamics are not completely understood.

We introduce a nucleic acid nanoparticle (NANP) platform designed to be rrecognized by the human innate immune system in a regulated manner. By changing chemical composition while maintaining constant architectural parameters, we identify key determinants of immunorecognition enabling the rational design of NANPs with tunable immune activation profiles

New Insights into the Charge-Transfer-to-Solvent Spectrum of Aqueous Iodide: Surface versus Bulk. [PDF]
Liquid phase charge-transfer-to-solvent (CTTS) transitions are important, as they serve as photochemical routes to solvated electrons. In this work, broadband deep-ultraviolet electronic sum frequency generation (DUV-ESFG) and two-photon absorption (2PA)

Molecular engineering of a nonconjugated radical polymer enables a significant enhancement of the glass transition temperature. The amorphous nature and tunability of the polymer, arising from its nonconjugated backbone, facilitates the fabrication of organic memristive devices with an exceptionally high yield (>95%), as well as substantial ...
