Electrochemical Functionalization of Graphene‐on‐Cu(111): Reactivity, Onset Potentials, and Mechanistic Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The electrochemical reactivity of graphene‐on‐Cu(111) with various phenyl and alkyl iodides showed different onset potentials. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and density functional theory (DFT) calculations are used to elucidate the differences in onset potentials for phenyl iodides with different substituents.

Direction‐Dependent Conduction Polarity in Altermagnetic CrSb

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A recently identified altermagnetic candidate, CrSb, has been found to exhibit direction‐dependent conduction polarity (DDCP). Conduction is dominated by electrons in the ab$\textit{ab}$‐plane and by holes along the c$c$‐axis of the hexagonal unit cell of CrSb.

Nano/Micro Metal‐Organic Framework‐Derived Porous Carbon with Rich Nitrogen Sites as Efficient Iodine Hosts for Aqueous Zinc‐Iodine Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cubic zinc‐based metal‐organic framework derived (Zn‐MOF‐derived) porous nitrogen‐doped carbon host is engineered to immobilize iodine, leveraging its hierarchical porosity and rich nitrogen sites to suppress polyiodide shuttling and enhance redox kinetics in zinc–iodine (Zn–I2) batteries.

Parvalbumin Interneuron‐Dependent Hippocampal Neurogenesis Evoked by Prolonged Rhythmic Light Flicker

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that prolonged rhythmic 40 Hz light flicker enhances spatial learning by stimulating PV interneuron‐dependent neurogenesis. The light flicker selectively activates PV interneurons, which enhances GABAergic support for the integration of immature neurons in the adult dentate gyrus.

Linear Polymer Cathode Materials for Highly Efficient Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries: Is the High Active Sites Density Necessary?

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two linear polymers with uniformly distributed electron clouds to verify the necessary of high‐density active sites, which enable extremely high active site utilization of 85.7%, thus resulting in superb high specific capacity of 618 mAh g−1 at 1 A g−1 and energy density of 678.62 Wh kg−1 in ZnSO4 and ZnI2 mixture electrolyte.

A Myelin Debris Cleaner for Spinal Cord Injury Recovery: Polycaprolactone / Cell Membrane Assembled Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
pMM‐PCL, made up of pretreated macrophage menbrane and polycaprolactone, boasts the adsorption of harmful myelin debris in the microenvironment of spinal cord injury. Abstract After spinal cord injury (SCI), a mass of myelin debris derived from injured myelin sheath will be consistently generated and induce macrophages to be foam cells.
