Porous Organic Cages as Building Blocks for Framework Materials

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Confined nanospaces play a fundamental role in nature, inspiring synthetic analogues that emulate biological precision and efficiency. Among these, porous crystalline materials such as covalent organic frameworks (COFs), metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs), and molecular cage compounds have emerged as powerful platforms for catalysis, separation, and ...

Improving Mass Transport and Charge Transfer in COF‐Based Photocatalysts With Three‐Dimensional Ordered Macropores for Benzylamine Oxidation and Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
A one‐step self‐sacrificing template strategy enables the synthesis of 3DOM‐COFs with ordered macropores. Coupled with ZnCdS, the resulting S‐scheme heterojunction efficiently catalyzes benzylamine oxidation and H₂ evolution. The 3DOM structure accelerates mass transfer and charge transfer, enhancing overall photocatalytic performance.
