MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

De Gustibus. Should we treat them or live them in peace?
There are certain conditions, such as prediabetes, subclinical hypothyroidism or "low T syndrome" with questionable clinical significance. Should we treat these conditionsor ...?

Bunsen section thermodynamic model for hydrogen production by the sulfur-Iodine cycle [PDF]
A model for the Bunsen section of the Sulfur – Iodine thermo-chemical cycle is proposed, where sulfur dioxide reacts with excess water and iodine to produce two demixing liquid aqueous phases (H2SO4 rich and HI rich) in equilibrium.

A Complexation‐Mediated Diffusion‐Limited Growth (CMDLG) framework is established to rationalize the anisotropic growth of lead‐free perovskites. Integrating coordination chemistry with mass transport kinetics, this study theoretically derives and experimentally validates that stable iodocuprate complexes induce a diffusion‐limited regime.

Diffractive imaging of dissociation and ground state dynamics in a complex molecule [PDF]
We have investigated the structural dynamics in photoexcited 1,2-diiodotetrafluoroethane molecules (C2F4I2) in the gas phase experimentally using ultrafast electron diffraction and theoretically using FOMO-CASCI excited state dynamics simulations.

This article presents a photo‐responsive nanoparticle platform that precisely triggers copper‐dependent cuproptotic cell death in (drug‐resistant) cancer cells. The system remains stable and inactive in the dark but releases cytotoxic species upon red‐light irradiation, achieving potent activity in drug‐resistant breast cancer cells.

Iodine deficiency and excess coexist in china and induce thyroid dysfunction and disease: a cross-sectional study. [PDF]
BACKGROUND: In spite of the salt iodization, iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) have not been sustainably eliminated in China. There are coastal areas with low iodized salt coverage rates (iodine nutrition is inadequate) and other areas with excessive ...

ABSTRACT In this work, we introduce a trifluoromethoxy (OCF3) group as a pseudo‐halogen terminal group design for non‐fullerene acceptors, which combines strong inductive electron‐withdrawing ability with moderate resonance donation. The as‐synthesized BTP‐OCF3, when benchmarked against its methoxy analogue BTP‐OCH3, demonstrates narrowed bandgap ...
