This study demonstrates that pulsed potential electrolysis significantly improves CO2 reduction performance on copper‐nitrogen doped carbon electrodes. The formation of cationic copper sites and metallic clusters as a function of applied intermittent potential leads to notable selectivity changes compared to potentiostatic reduction.

The current density of hydroxyapatite electrosynthesis by ion exchange resin chambers
Electrochemical method has been developed to produce hydroxyapatite (HA) powders. Synthesis of hydroxyapatite particles was carried out from a homogeneous solution. The homogeneous solution was contained of Na2H2EDTA.2H2O, KH2PO4 and CaCl2 on 0.25/0.25/0.

Particular thermal metamaterials are widely used as daytime radiative coolers merely by embedding thermally emissive nanoparticles (NPs) in liquid resins to form scalable, yet highly efficient cooling films in a cost‐effective way. However, randomly dispersed NPs, prevalently used thus far, cause strong scattering, limiting NP content and cooling ...

Deodorizing Experiments with Ion Exchange Resins
In a previous report (1), the differences in the carbon number of the lower fatty acids contained in cutaneous secretions such as axillary sweat, smegma, and dandruff, were considered as factors responsible for the difference in odor between osmidrotic and non-osmidrotic subjects.

Epitaxial piezoelectric α‐quartz/Si BioNEMS sensors, made using soft chemistry, effectively detect the Chikungunya virus. They have a mass sensitivity of 205 pg Hz−1 in liquid and can detect the virus at a limit of 9 ng mL−1. This development enables high‐frequency mass devices for point‐of‐care testing in healthcare and other electronic applications ...

Preparation of Deuterated Cation Exchange Resin by Ion Exchange
During the operation of the spallation neutron source, heavy water used as a coolant can introduce impurities. Direct purification of heavy water using conventional ion exchange resins can lead to the displacement of H+/OH−, thereby reducing the purity ...
