Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Instrument for investigating the distribution of ions formed at high-speed collision of solids
This paper describes a device for studying the spatial distribution of ions formed at high-speed collision of solids. A variant of the construction and structural scheme of the device, which increases the accuracy of the information about the physical ...

Beamed neutron emission driven by laser accelerated light ions
Highly anisotropic, beam-like neutron emission with peak flux of the order of 10 ^9 n/sr was obtained from light nuclei reactions in a pitcher–catcher scenario, by employing MeV ions driven by a sub-petawatt laser. The spatial profile of the neutron beam,

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Charged particle single nanometre manufacturing
Following a brief historical summary of the way in which electron beam lithography developed out of the scanning electron microscope, three state-of-the-art charged-particle beam nanopatterning technologies are considered. All three have been the subject

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.
