Interpretation of ion cyclotron emission from fusion and space plasmas
Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion, 1994Superthermal ion cyclotron emission (ICE) is observed in both fusion and space plasmas. Typical spectra display strong peaks at sequential multiple ion cyclotron harmonics, and distinct energetic ion populations are present in the emitting regions.
