This study presents the development and characterization of injectable nanocomposite hydrogels based on N‐succinyl chitosan, oxidized guar gum, and bacterial cellulose nanofibers. Emphasizing enhanced mechanical properties and biocompatibility, the hydrogels exhibit fast gelation, improved structural integrity, and reduced swelling. Their potential for

Magnetism in Mn-nanowires and -clusters as δ-doped layers in group IV semiconductors (Si, Ge)
Mn doping of group-IV semiconductors (Si/Ge) is achieved by embedding nanostructured Mn-layers in group-IV matrix. The Mn-nanostructures are monoatomic Mn-wires or Mn-clusters and capped with an amorphous Si or Ge layer.

Ionic Kratzer bond theory and vibrational levels for achiral covalent bond HH [PDF]
A dihydrogen Hamiltonian reduces to the Sommerfeld-Kratzer-potential, adapted for field quantization according to old-quantum theory. Constants omega_e, k_e and r_e needed for the H_2 vibrational system derive solely from hydrogen mass m_H. For H_2, a first principles ionic Kratzer oscillator returns the covalent bond energy within 0,08 % and all ...

Periodic submicron features are fabricated on 304 stainless steel using single and double femtosecond laser pulses. By adjusting polarization, fluence, and inter‐pulse delay, 1D and 2D nanostructures are formed. Enhanced hydrophobicity and dense surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy hotspots enable analyte detection down to 10−10 M with good ...

Reversible intercalation of methyl viologen as a dicationic charge carrier in aqueous batteries
Rechargeable batteries are governed by reversible intercalation reactions. Here the authors expand the intercalation chemistry to include methyl viologen as a large dicationic charge carrier in aqueous batteries.

This study reports for the first time the mechanical properties of brazed joints featuring Additively manufactured parts, such parts will likely need to be joined or combined with other components, and brazing offers a way of doing this for complex shapes without distortion. A new shear test methodology developed for such joints is also described.

Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) may aggravate liver fibrosis. In this study, a novel oral targeting nanoemulsion is fabricated to enhance the therapeutic effect of antifibrotic drug‐pirfenidone (PFD) on fibrosis after TACE. Studies have shown that PFD nanoemulsion can enhance the oral liver targeting effect of PFD, and effectively improve the ...
