Ionization of nitromethane in the flame ionization detector [PDF]
The mass spectra observed on sampling the unburnt gases of a flame ionization detector to which nitromethane has been added are due mostly to proton transfer reactions of NH4+ and H3O+. These are formed in the reaction zone from the primary ion HCO+, and pass through the unburnt gases to the sampling orifice.

Abstract The titration of ribonuclease, acid to its isoionic point, has been conducted in 1.80 M KCl. The slopes of the titration curves in the neighborhood of half neutralization of the carboxyl groups have been studied at several ionic strengths.

IONIZATION AND DE-IONIZATION IN THE LOWER IONOSPHERE [PDF]
Abstract : A body of information pertaining to ionization and de-ionization in the lower ionosphere was compiled from various sources. Part of the data was derived from studies of geophysical observations, part of it from published and unpub lished laboratory measurements, and part from other ionospheric studies.

Ionization and double ionization of small water clusters
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2006The valence ionization and double ionization spectra of the water molecule, of the water dimer, and the cyclic water clusters (H2O)3 and (H2O)4 are calculated by ab initio Green’s function methods and discussed in some detail. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the development of the spectra with increasing cluster size.

Photo-ionization of Helium and Ionized Lithium
Proceedings of the Physical Society, 1963The work of Stewart and Wilkinson in 1960 on the photo-ionization of helium using six-parameter Hylleraas ground state and Hartree-Fock continuum wave functions has been entended to higher energies. Agreement to within 10% is obtained with the recent measurements of Baker, Bedo and Tomboulian over the spectral range 504-180 A.

Total ionization and ionization fluctuations in helium
Physics Letters A, 1969The mean energy for ion production W, the Fano factor F and some other quantities inherent to electron ionization cascades in helium are computed with semi-empirical cross sections for excitation and ionization. W = 46 eV and F = 0.21 at electron energy of 2.5 keV.

Ionization and dissociative ionization of by electron impact
Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, 1997Absolute cross sections for CO2+, C2+ and O2+ formation from CO+ by electron impact have been measured in the energy range from below the respective ionization or dissociative ionization thresholds to approximately 2500 eV. The animated crossed-beams method has been employed.
