We investigated the UV‐induced photoluminescence of the fur of 23 species of monotremes, marsupial, and placental mammals. We used emission and excitation spectroscopy as well as multispectral imaging to detect, characterize, and map the chemical compounds responsible for the reddish photoluminescence.

An ultrasonography‐based approach for tissue modelling to inform photo‐therapy treatment strategies
Diagnostic medicine has benefited enormously from ultrasound imaging as a point‐of‐care device. In this research, we use high frequency ultrasound imaging to build optical models with individual‐specific geometries and optical properties. Subsequently, these are used to model the interactions of light with Monte Carlo methods.
