6 nm iron oxide nanoparticles (IONP6) exhibit enzyme‐like activities that scavenge reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS), including nitric oxide (NO). In stroke models, IONP6 promotes microglial polarization toward the M2 phenotype, reduces neuroinflammation, and improves neurological outcomes, offering a promising drug‐free approach to mitigate ...

Fluctuations in instantaneous frequency predict alpha amplitude during visual perception. [PDF]
Rhythmic neural activity in the alpha band (8-13 Hz) is thought to have an important role in the selective processing of visual information. Typically, modulations in alpha amplitude and instantaneous frequency are thought to reflect independent ...

Mechanical loading induces a previously unrecognized Sox9+Acan+ transitional mesenchymal cell population in the periodontal ligament that promotes osteoclastogenesis via the FGF2–FGFR2–ERK axis. Targeting this mechanoresponsive stromal population using a localized GelMA@siRNA delivery strategy attenuates pathological osteoclast overactivation and root ...

Inspired by antibody‐antigen binding, this study develops an unprecedented immunoaffinity‐mimetic assembly strategy, with Peptide‐AptCD63 conjugates acting as antibody surrogates binding CD63 epitopes on mesenchymal stem cell‐derived exosomes. This creates a hierarchical microstructure intended to synergistically integrate antioxidative and anti ...

Compared to untargeted therapy, the targeted nanocarrier, Angiopep‐2‐conjugated Lipid Nanoparticle (A‐LNP) loaded with TGN‐020 (TGN), selectively accumulated in stroke‐injured regions. It suppressed local aquaporin‐4 (AQP4) overexpression, thereby alleviating cerebral edema and hypoperfusion while preserving global glymphatic clearance.

Prismatic adaptation modulates oscillatory EEG correlates of motor preparation but not visual attention in healthy participants [PDF]
Prismatic adaption (PA) has been proposed as a tool to induce neural plasticity and is used to help neglect rehabilitation. It leads to a recalibration of visuo-motor coordination during pointing as well as to after-effects on a number of sensorimotor ...

Monoaminylation in Human Health and Disease: State of the Field, Challenges, and Emerging Directions
This review delineates monoaminylation—serotonylation, dopaminylation, and histaminylation—as key post‐translational modifications beyond receptor signaling. It details their catalytic mechanisms, roles in gene expression and protein function, and implications in health and disease, aiming to bridge mechanistic insights with therapeutic potential ...
