An Empirical View on IQA Follow-up Questions
Proceedings of the 8th SIGdial Workshop on Discourse and Dialogue, 2007In a realistic Interactive Question Answering (IQA) situation, one third of the users pose follow-up questions, i.e., go beyond a single question per dialogue. We identify two different perspectives according to which these follow-ups can be described: informational transitions and context dependency.

iQA: An Intelligent Question Answering System
2005Question answering (QA) is the study on the methodology that returns exact answers to natural language questions. This paper attempts to increase the coverage and accuracy of QA systems by narrowing the semantics gap between questions with terms written in abbreviations and their potential answers. To achieve this objective, the processing includes (1)

A Fast Computation Method for IQA Metrics Based on their Typical Set
Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Pattern Recognition Applications and Methods, 2014This paper deals with the typical set of an image quality assessment (IQA) measure. In particular, it focuses on the well known and widely used Structural SIMilarity index (SSIM). In agreement with Information Theory, the visual distortion typical set is composed of the least amount of information necessary to estimate the quality of the distorted ...

Reduced reference IQA based on structural dissimilarity
2014 International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN), 2014Distortion estimation in objective domain plays an important role during Image Quality Assessment (IQA). Reduced Reference IQA requires only partial information about the reference image which can be transmitted through an ancillary data channel and is useful where complete image cannot be accessed (as reference for IQA).

SIQA Based on 2D IQA Weighting Strategy
2020As image quality assessment (IQA) methods for plant images have been explored thoroughly, some SIQA algorithms apply 2D IQA methods on both stereoscopic views independently and then combine the two scores to obtain an overall quality score by a dedicated strategy. The early algorithms only combine the two scores simply to obtain the final quality score,

An Integrated Electronic IQA System for HEI
2018Most HEIs have piecemeal partially linked QMS (Quality Management System) or mechanisms to manage the data, statistics and documents heavy quality management of its academic aspirations disjointed from the planning dimension. The integrated eIQA structured in 9 e-modules are aimed at integrating the quality-information-planning trilogy into a paperless

Short description of the research software : A C++ library to analyze image quality. Detect e.g. if an image is over-/underexposed, blurry or contains little information. iqa is based on OpenVC and can utilize your GPU for a great performance boost. To do so you only need OpenCV built with Cuda support.

Parameter Selection for Denoising Algorithms Using NR-IQA with CNN
2018In order to yield satisfied image after denosing processing, the process of error tracing is nearly necessary for parameter selection. In practice, usually the choice of such parameters is time consuming and empirically dependant when a ground-truth reference is inavailable.
