Unipolar Barrier Near‐Infrared 2D Photodetectors for 3D Image Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A MoTe2/WSe2/Cl–SnSe2 unipolar barrier photodetector is demonstrated, in which the WSe2 layer effectively blocks majority‐carrier injection, yielding suppressed dark current and enhanced near‐infrared (NIR) sensing. The device achieves high detectivity, a wide linear dynamic range, and fast response under 1310 nm illumination, enabling high‐fidelity 3D

Graphormer-IR: Graph Transformers Predict Experimental IR Spectra Using Highly Specialized Attention [PDF]

open access: yes
Given that Infrared (IR) spectroscopy is a crucial tool in various chemical and forensic domains, improved in silico methods for predicting experimental spectra are needed due to the time and accuracy limitations of ab initio methods.

ir: Functions to Handle and Preprocess Infrared Spectra v0.2.0

open access: yes, 2022
First CRAN release (#1). Added a NEWS.md file to track changes to the package. Added tidyverse methods for ir objects. ir objects no longer require columns measurement_id and sample_id, but only the column spectra.

Harnessing Li‐Ion Binding Energy for Solvation‐Guided Electrolyte Additive Design and Robust Solid Electrolyte Interphase Reinforcement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A solvation‐guided design strategy for electrolyte additives is established, identifying Li‐ion binding energy as a crucial determinant for effective interface reinforcement. ABSTRACT The rational design of electrolyte systems is essential for stabilizing the electrode−electrolyte interface to enhance the electrochemical performance of lithium‐ion ...

Magnetic Water Cleaning of Estrogens via Tight yet Dynamic Binding to Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Micropollution is one of the big challenges humanity faces with estrogen hormones being emerging pollutants of concern. Here, a supramolecular design strategy is presented that generates a simple nano‐adsorbent material to magnetically remove low‐concentrated estrogens from water.

Origin of Enhanced Efficiency and Reduced Roll‐Off in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes Based on Pt(II) Complexes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Controlled Pt–Pt fine structure in square‐planar Pt(II) complexes governs metal–metal‐to‐ligand charge‐transfer (MMLCT) state formation, exciton dynamics, and organic light‐emitting diode performance. Short Pt–Pt contacts in Pt(fppz)2 enable coherent metal–metal coupling, sub‐microsecond emission and an external quantum efficiency of 29%, whereas ...
