Spectroscopic methods and theoretical studies of bromoacetic substituted derivatives of bile acids

open access: yesActa Chimica Slovenica, 2015
The structure of seven bromoacetic substituted derivatives of bile acids are characterized by 1H MMR, 13C NMR, 2D NMR, FT-IR and mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) as well as PM5 semiempirical and B3LYP ab initio methods.

Synthesis and Antibacterial Activity of N,N-Diethylamide Bearing Benzenesulfonamide Derivatives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Sulfonamides are known to represent a class of medicinally important compounds which are extensively used as antibacterial agents. Hence, a series of new N,N-diethyl amide bearing sulfonamides (2a-k) were synthesized via amidation of easily prepared ...

Investigation of Halogen Substitution Effects in π‐Conjugated Organic Ligands of Chiral Hybrid Perovskites on Their Chiroptical Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The role of novel thiophene‐based ligands with halogen substitutions in enhancing the chiroptical and optoelectronic properties of 2D chiral HOIPs has been investigated. By tailoring ligand design, enhanced CD and CPL properties are achieved, with improved CPL discrimination in photodetectors.

Manganese carbonyl-mediated reactions of azabutadienes with phenylacetylene, methyl acrylate and other unsaturated molecules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Reaction of PhCH₂Mn(CO)₅ with l,4-di-aryl-1-aza-1,3-butadienes gave substituted pyrrolinonyl rings which were η⁴-coordinated to a Mn(CO)₃ group. These are formed by intramolecular CO insertion into a (non-isolated) cyclomanganated intermediate, followed ...

Furan‐Substituted Phosphine‐Oxide as an Efficient Interfacial Modifier for Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report phosphine‐oxide interlayers for wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells, in which tuned P = O Lewis basicity enables selective passivation of buried NiOx/perovskite interfaces and introduces interfacial dipoles that strengthen the built‐in field.

Regionally Localized Electrolyte Engineering via UV Crosslinking for Stable Ether–Carbonate Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a regionally localized electrolyte (RLE) that spatially separates ether‐ and carbonate‐based functions to stabilize both Li metal and high‐voltage cathodes. An immobilized ether‐rich layer directs Li+ transport, activates LiNO3 locally, and forms a uniform LiF‐rich SEI, enabling lower overpotential, uniform deposition, and long ...

Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of Novel Schiff Bases Derived from 4-Phenyl-2-aminothiazole and their Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) Metal complexes

open access: yesE-Journal of Chemistry, 2011
Novel Schiff bases and their metal complexes were derived from some hetero cyclic β-diketones with 4-phenyl-2-aminothiazole. All the synthesized compounds were confirmed their structure by Elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Mass spectra, TGA ...

Graphene Nanosheet‐Based Mixed Proton‐Electron Conducting Membranes for Efficient Hydrogen Purification

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A monolayer graphene/phosphoric‐acid mixed proton‐electron conducting membrane combines proton‐conducting nanoconfined acid channels with electron‐conducting graphene nanosheets for efficient high‐temperature hydrogen purification. The membrane achieves nearly 100% H2/CO2 selectivity and 69 GPU hydrogen permeance at 250°C, arising from synergistic ...

Dinuclear Lanthanide (III) coordination polymers in a domino reaction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A systematic study was performed to further optimise the catalytic room-temperature synthesis of trans-4,5- diaminocyclopent-2-enones from 2-furaldehyde and primary or secondary amines under a non-inert atmosphere. For this purpose, a series of dinuclear

Magnetothermal‐Triggered Response and Self‐Healing of Recyclable and Reprocessable Nanocomposites for Actuation Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Developing recyclable materials for magnetic robotics that combine rapid response and self‐healing properties is challenging. Hence, this study focuses on the integration of magnetothermal nanoparticles into a dynamic sorbitol‐based vitrimer, a recyclable composite capable of remote actuation and self‐healing by magnetic heating.
