The collisionless IR absorption spectrum of C3F7I

Chemical Physics Letters, 1986
Abstract The collisionless infrared absorption spectrum of C3F7I was measured with an 80 ns CO2 laser system. Comparison with the collisional absorption spectrum reveals that collisions induce a red-shift as well as significant broadening of the collisionless spectrum.

IR spectrum of the closed form of indolinospironaphthooxazine

Journal of Applied Spectroscopy, 2012
IR absorption spectra of indolinospironaphthooxazine (ISNO) are presented. The geometric structure and normal coordinates of the ISNO molecule have been calculated using a quantum mechanical DFT method. The IR spectrum of ISNO in its original spiro form has been interpreted for the first time.

The IR spectrum of Pu(IV) polymer

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1978
Abstract The IR spectrum of Pu(IV) polymer has been measured from 200–4000 cm −1 . Major bands which could be associated directly with the oxygen-bridged polymer occured at 360 and 3400 cm −1 . These were assigned, respectively, to a PuO vibration similar to the lattice vibration of high-fired PuO 2 and to an OH stretching vibration of a water ...

The IR spectrum and force constants for AsF3

Journal of Molecular Structure, 1968
Abstract Knowing, from experimental and theoretical considerations, that the opposite bond-angle interaction force constant is negative and that the remaining interaction force constants are positive it is possible to choose an explicit set of force constants corresponding to values for DJK equal to −7.06 kc sec−1, DK = 3.24 kc sec−1 and DJ = 4.75 kc

IR-REMPI Double Resonance Spectroscopy: The Near-IR Spectrum of NO−Ar Revisited

The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 2008
We describe a new approach to IR-UV double resonance spectroscopy of NO-containing van der Waals complexes. The basic idea combines REMPI detection through a hot band transition with a simultaneous frequency scan of the IR and UV lasers in such a way that the combined photon energy is kept constant throughout the scan, matching a UV resonance ...

Electronic Effects in the IR Spectrum of Water under Confinement

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2009
We compare calculations of infrared (IR) spectra of water confined between nonpolar surfaces, obtained by molecular dynamics simulations with forces either computed using density functional theory or modeled by empirical potentials. Our study allows for the identification of important electronic effects, contributing to IR signals, that are not ...

The Spectrum of Neutral Iridium, Ir I

Physical Review, 1938
A new description of the arc spectrum of iridium has been made. The present data include 3100 wave-lengths of which 1937 have been accounted for as combinations between 214 energy levels. The normal electron configuration of the Ir I is $5{d}^{7}6{s}^{2}$ and the I.P. is approximately 9.2 volts. Tables of the most intense lines and of all of the energy
