Holographic two-point functions in a disorder system

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2023
We study the holographic dual of two-point correlation functions for nonconformal field theories. We first take into account a Lifshitz geometry as the dual of a Lifshitz field theory which may appear at a critical or IR fixed point.

IR dynamics from UV divergences: UV/IR mixing, NCFT, and the hierarchy problem

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The persistence of the hierarchy problem points to a violation of effective field theory expectations. A compelling possibility is that this results from a physical breakdown of EFT, which may arise from correlations between ultraviolet (UV) and infrared

UV/IR mixing in noncommutative SU(N) Yang–Mills theory

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We show that there are one-loop IR singularities arising from UV/IR mixing in noncommutative SU(N) Yang–Mills theory defined by means of the $$\theta $$ θ -exact Seiberg–Witten map.

The Construction of International Relations (IR) Theories in China

open access: yesEstudos Internacionais
This paper reviews the debates among Chinese scholars regarding the development of Chinese International Relations (IR) theory. We demonstrate that these debates, which began in the 1980s, reflect an increasing awareness among local academics of the ...

RG flows and cascades of Lif4(2) × S 1 × S 5 vacua

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
The (F1,D2,D8) brane configuration produces Lif4(2) × S 1 × S 5 Lifshitz vacua supported by ‘massive’ B-field. We present exact deformations of this system under which new massless B-modes of strings also get excited.
