Radio Imaging of the NGC 1333 IRAS 4B Region

open access: yes, 2011
The NGC 1333 IRAS 4B region was observed in the 6.9 mm and 1.3 cm continuum with an angular resolution of about 0.4 arcseconds. IRAS 4BI was detected in both bands, and BII was detected in the 6.9 mm continuum only.

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.

The plastic brain part II: new insights into micro- and nanoplastics neurotoxicity

open access: yesMicroplastics and Nanoplastics
Micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs) are ubiquitously present in the environment. As a result, human exposure is inevitable. Over the last several years, the number of studies investigating the potential neurotoxicity of MNPs has skyrocketed.

HST ultraviolet spectral energy distributions for three ultraluminous infrared galaxies [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We present HST Faint Object Camera ultraviolet (230 nm and 140 nm) images of three ultraluminous infrared galaxies (ULIG: L_ir > 10^12 L_sun) selected from the IRAS Revised Bright Galaxy Sample.

Pulsations and Long-Term Light Variability of Three Candidates to Protoplanetary Nebulae

open access: yes, 2009
We present new photometric data and analysis of the long-duration UBV photoelectric observations for three candidates to protoplanetary objects - F-supergiants with IR-excesses located at large galactic latitudes, IRAS 18095+2704, IRAS 19386+0155, and ...

Decoding the Cardiac Immune Microenvironment and Fibroblast Crosstalk in Radiotherapy Combined with Immunotherapy‐Induced Cardiac Fibrosis Based on Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study highlights that radioimmunotherapy drives crosstalk between fibroblasts and immune cells (especially macrophages) in the cardiac microenvironment, with IL‐6 as the key mediator, and tocilizumab alleviates cardiac fibrosis by targeting this interplay.
