Export performance of Chinese domestic firms: the role of foreign export spillovers [PDF]

open access: yes
We investigate how the proximity to multinational exporters influences the creation of new export linkages (extensive margin of trade) by domestic firms in China.

LOGOS ir THEOS: ontologinis protas ir apreiškimas

open access: yes, 2007
Article explores some fundamental issues concerning the relation between philosophical anthropology and theological epistemology. For this purpose we choose to critically examine presumably most prominent and the last of the great systematic thinkers in philosophy and theology Paul Tillich‘s doctrine of reason, it‘s basic theses and relevance to the ...

R&D SUBSIDIES AND FIRM-LEVEL PRODUCTIVITY: EVIDENCE FROM FRANCE [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper attempts to provide a new insight into the relationship between R&D subsidies and firm-level productivity. The empirical analysis evaluates the productivity of firms involved in a European program of public R&D grants called Eureka.

Oxytocin‐ und Vasopressin‐Photosonden zur Entschlüsselung der Neuropeptid‐Signalgebung mit hoher räumlicher und zeitlicher Präzision

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Migration modelling in the New Economic Geography [PDF]

open access: yes
The benchmark of this paper is the Fujita and Thisse (2002) core-periphery model, which adds a R&D sector with skilled labor to create new varieties for the modern sector. The number of R&D firms increases not only with the number of existing patents and

Photocaged Oxytocin and Vasopressin Probes to Decipher Neuropeptide Signalling With High Spatiotemporal Resolution

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Novel and biocompatible photoactivatable oxytocin and vasopressin probes, utilising state‐of‐the‐art photocages, remain inactive in the dark. Light exposure facilitates rapid spatiotemporal receptor activation and phospholipase C (PLC)‐mediated downstream signalling. Figure created in https://BioRender.com.

Polyfluoroalkyl‐Tagged Cell‐Penetrating Peptide‐Additives Enhance Intracellular Protein Delivery via Sustained Monomeric Lipid Interaction

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
We introduce cell‐penetrating peptides (CPPs) with polyfluoroalkyl‐tags that drastically enhance intracellular protein delivery by promoting membrane retention. Via the combination of live‐cell imaging, biophysical analysis, and computational simulations, we reveal how fluorous CPPs interact with membranes via monomeric interactions and dynamic tag ...

Design of Experiments‐Based Optimization of Recovered Carbon Black–Reinforced Isobutylene–Isoprene Rubber in Comparison With Conventional Carbon Black Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Optimized potential of rCB via DOE: recovered carbon black from end‐of‐life tires was assessed as a full substitute for conventional carbon black in IIR composites. DOE and response surface methodology optimized rCB loading, plasticizer, and sulfur contents. Hardness showed linear trends, while rupture energy was nonlinear.
