Iris Varix Simulating an Iris Melanoma [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Ophthalmology, 2000
Iris varix is rare and little is known about its clinical characteristics. We treated a thrombosed iris varix that simulated an iris melanoma. A 53-year-old man developed a dark brown iris mass and hyphema in his left eye. Ultrasound biomicroscopy revealed a circumscribed mass of the iris stroma.

Plant‐Produced Viral Nanoparticles Decorated with Nanobodies Against HER2 Improve Retention and Recruitment of Immune Cells in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Potato virus X is a filamentous RNA plant virus that can be engineered into a molecular tool for cancer therapy. We produced genetically‐encoded virus‐derived nanoparticles decorated with nanobodies targeting cancer cell receptors, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2).

Transistor‐Level Activation Functions via Two‐Gate Designs: From Analog Sigmoid and Gaussian Control to Real‐Time Hardware Demonstrations

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Screen gate‐based transistors are presented, enabling tunable analog sigmoid and Gaussian activations. The SA‐transistor improves MRI classification accuracy, while the GA‐transistor supports precise Gaussian kernel tuning for forecasting. Both functions are implemented in a single device, offering compact, energy‐efficient analog AI processing ...
