Fully Synthetic Longitudinal Real-World Data From Hearing Aid Wearers for Public Health Policy Modeling [PDF]
Here, we share the first outcome of EVOTION (www.h2020evotion.eu) in the form of a data-set to inspire, encourage, and motivate a data-driven analytical approach to evidence-based healthcare policy modeling using real-world longitudinal data.

Due to extensive pathophysiological changes in critically ill patients, standard dosing of antibiotics may lead to inadequate drug exposure. This is concerning, as insufficient plasma drug concentrations may lead to treatment failure, whereas excessive drug exposure may increase the risk of toxic adverse events.

Using online metabolite data from the first few days of a bioreactor run, the digital shadow can forecast the cell concentration in real‐time with an accuracy of 13% (standard deviation ≈ 6%). These predictions can guide the optimal harvest time of CAR T cells for subsequent re‐infusion into the patient.

Stimuli‐responsive systems: A focus on controlled drug delivery for posterior segment ocular disease
This review highlights recent advances in stimuli‐responsive drug delivery for posterior segment diseases, focusing on mechanisms and potential. It also explores mechanically interlocked molecules and bioorthogonal reactions as novel approaches. Challenges and future perspectives are discussed, aiming to bridge the gap between research and clinical ...

Photosynthesis-dependent H₂O₂ transfer from chloroplasts to nuclei provides a high-light signalling mechanism [PDF]
Chloroplasts communicate information by signalling to nuclei during acclimation to fluctuating light. Several potential operating signals originating from chloroplasts have been proposed, but none have been shown to move to nuclei to modulate gene ...
