Generative Iris Prior Embedded Transformer for Iris Restoration [PDF]

open access: yes2023 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME), Brisbane, Australia, 2023, pp. 510-515
Iris restoration from complexly degraded iris images, aiming to improve iris recognition performance, is a challenging problem. Due to the complex degradation, directly training a convolutional neural network (CNN) without prior cannot yield satisfactory results.

Real‐Time Non‐Faradaic Potentiodynamic Impedance Sensing Using Screen‐Printed Carbon Electrodes

open access: yesAnalysis &Sensing, Volume 4, Issue 6, November 2024.
We present a sensing strategy based on non‐Faradaic electrochemical impedance spectroscopy augmented with potential cycling. We demonstrate that the sensitivity of capacitance due to bead sedimentation on to screen‐printed carbon electrodes is dependent on the applied electrochemical potential.
