Progressive essential iris atrophy, Chandler's syndrome, and the iris nevus (Cogan-Reese) syndrome are considered to be variations of a single disease process, which is characterized by abnormalities of the cornea, anterior chamber angle, and iris. In each variation, the typical patient is a white woman with unilateral disease, negative family history,

Intraocular pressure and iris denervation in Hansen's disease.
International journal of leprosy and other mycobacterial diseases : official organ of the International Leprosy Association, 1990We retrospectively analyzed 255 Hansen's disease patients and found low intraocular pressure (less than 7 mm Hg) in 12% of them. We showed a correlation between low intraocular pressure and avascular keratitis and iritis. We also found that patients with low intraocular pressures had abnormally large postural changes in intraocular pressure.

Iris Angiography in Vascular Diseases of the Fundus
1976The present paper aims to review the effects of certain vascular diseases of the fundus on the iris vessels, as detected by iris fluorescein angiography (IFA). The technique of IFA used in these studies has been discussed elsewhere (Kottow & Hendrickson, 1975), and shall be omitted here for the sake of brevity.

Iris Disease Classifying Using Neuro-Fuzzy Medical Diagnosis Machine
2009Disease diagnosis is an essential task in the medical world. The use of computers in the practice of medicine is becoming more and more crucial. In this paper, we propose an intelligent system to help us diagnose the Iris disease. This system is based on Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach.
