Phosphinate or Urea? Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen‐Targeted Fluorophores With Different Zinc‐Binding Motif

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 10, 27 May 2026.
A comparison of two structurally related prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA)‐targeted fluorophores revealed that the substitution of the urea motif lysine‐urea‐glutamate (KuE) by a phosphinate leads to probes with low nanomolar PSMA‐affinity, good and specific tumor uptake, and low off‐target tissue retention in mice.

Classification and grading of noninvasive and invasive neoplasms of the urothelium

open access: yes, 2012
The classification and grading of the noninvasive, intraepithelial neoplasms of the urothelium are based on the morphological pattern of growth, i.e., papillary and flat (and endophytic), and on their degree of architectural and cytologic abnormalities ...
