Some fundamental technical aspects of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in evaluation of iron deposition were discussed. MRI is an imaging modality sensitive to iron deposition of the brain tissue. T(2) weighted imaging (T(2)WI), T(2) weighted imaging (T(2)WI), and susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) are particularly available for this purpose.

Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) regulates trophoblast syncytialization through organelle stress–induced cellular senescence

The inhibition of mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) impairs syncytialization and induces cellular senescence via mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum stress in human trophoblast stem cells, elevating sFlt1/PlGF levels, a hallmark of placental dysfunction in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Mineralography, paragenesis sequence, and sulfur isotopic composition of Baba-Ali and Galali iron ore deposits from the Sanandaj-Sirjan zone, northwest Iran

Journal of Economic Geology
The northern part of the Sanandaj-Sirjan zone hosts important iron deposits formed during the Mesozoic magmatism. The Baba-Ali and Galali ore deposits occurred on the border of Hamedan, Kermanshah, and Kurdistan provinces.
