In Materia Shaping of Randomness with a Standard Complementary Metal‐Oxide‐Semiconductor Transistor for Task‐Adaptive Entropy Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study establishes a materials‐driven framework for entropy generation within standard CMOS technology. By electrically rebalancing gate‐oxide traps and Si‐channel defects in foundry‐fabricated FDSOI transistors, the work realizes in‐materia control of temporal correlation – achieving task adaptive entropy optimization for reinforcement learning ...

Polyferrocene‐Based Cubosomes: Conversion to Magnetic Mesoporous Microparticles, Supramolecular Modification, and Oxidation Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polyferrocene block copolymers are synthesized and assembled into micron‐sized polymer cubosomes with double diamond lattice and pore diameter of ≈30 nm. The ferrocene functionality is retained within the polymer cubosome wall as demonstrated on supramolecular modification, and oxidative disassembly.

Effects of Water Released From Stratified and Unstratified Reservoirs on the Downstream Water Quality [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
Water quality samples were collected from the Little River system in Pine Creek Lake, Oklahoma, and Gillham Lake, Arkansas, and their associated tailwaters during the winter (reservoirs unstratified) and summer (reservoirs stratified) of 1980. Downstream

The “Porţile de Fier/Iron Gates” Nature Park (Romania) Some Danube Northern Tributaries Fish Fauna

open access: yes, 2014
The relative larger size of the Berzasca River, respectively the relatively constant environmental conditions, with relatively stenotopic ichthyocenosis, suffered small qualitative and quantitative fish fauna modifications in time, compared to the ...

Enhancing Synaptic Plasticity and Multistate Retention of Organic Neuromorphic Devices Using Anion‐Excessive Gel Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐excessive gel‐based organic synaptic transistors (AEG‐OSTs) that can maintain electrical neutrality are developed to enhance synaptic plasticity and multistate retention. Key improvement is attributed to the maintenance of electrical neutrality in the electrolyte even after electrochemical doping, which reduces the Coulombic force acting on ...

Morphometric Analysis to Extrapolate Geoecological Potential of the Rivers in the “Iron Gates” Natural Park (Banat, Romania)

open access: yes, 2014
The present study is based on morphometric analysis of watersheds from the “Iron Gates” Natural Park. Morphometric parameters of a river basin are influenced by a series of biotic and abiotic factors.
