Iron isotopes in the early marine diagenetic iron cycle
Geology, 2006Measurements of Fe oxyhydroxides [reactive Fe(III)] in two shallow sediment profiles from reducing and oxic environments on the Arabian Sea margin demonstrate Fe isotope fractionation during early marine diagenesis. Reactive Fe(III) has δ 56 Fe values between −0.77‰ and −0.19‰. Values are lowest at the top of the sediment profile and considerably lower

Abstract In situ O and Fe isotope measurements of magnetite and hematite in banded iron formations (BIFs) from the 2.5 Ga Dales Gorge member of the Brockman Iron Formation, Hamersley Group, Western Australia, document distinct fine-scale isotopic zonation. For hematite, δ O 18 values (VSMOW) range from −7.1 to − 0.6 ‰ , and

Isotope shift in the NMR of iron
Canadian Journal of Physics, 1969The zero-field NMR frequencies of two samples of iron with different isotopic constitution have been compared at various temperatures. An isotope shift is observed which is different from a previous estimate. A possible explanation for the isotope shift is suggested.

Isotopic variations of germanium in iron and stony iron meteorites
Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, 1997Abstract Germanium isotopic ratios for six iron meteorites of various groups, metallic phase of pallasite stony iron meteorites, three chemical reagents, and terrestrial germanite sample from Tsumeb mine, Namibia have been determined using a multiple collector-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (MC-ICPMS).
