Relationship Between Pregnant Women’s Knowledge of Iron Tablets and Adherence to Iron Tablet Consumption at Saritani Health Center

open access: yesProceeding of The International Conference of Inovation, Science, Technology, Education, Children, and Health
Anemia is a common condition among pregnant women, often caused by insufficient iron intake or poor absorption due to digestive issues. This condition can have serious implications for both maternal and fetal health. The primary objective of this study was to explore the relationship between pregnant women’s knowledge about iron tablets and their ...

Targeting the GPX4–FUNDC1 Interaction with Magnesium Lithospermate B Attenuates Sepsis‐Associated Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The diagram depicts the endothelial‐protective mechanism of magnesium lithospermate B (MLB) in sepsis‐associated lung injury. MLB binds GPX4 at Gly79, disrupts its interaction with FUNDC1, prevents mitophagy‐mediated GPX4 degradation, restores mitophagic flux, reduces ROS, and limits ferroptosis.

Enhancing Knowledge and Compliance in Anemia Treatment Through a WhatsApp Group at SMPN 1 Karangrejo, Magetan, Indonesia

open access: yesHealth Dynamics
Background: The prevalence of anemia in adolescents in East Java in 2018 was 50-60%. Anemia can be caused by various factors, including iron deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, folate deficiency, infectious diseases, congenital factors, and bleeding. The

Highly Active Cu14 Cluster Precisely Activates Autophagy Inhibitor to Amplify Cuproptosis Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An atomically precise Cu14 cluster‐mediated bond scission reaction pioneers the amplification of the antitumor immune response via synergetic cuproptosis‐associated immunogenic cell death induction and in situ autophagy blockade. ABSTRACT Transition metal‐mediated cleavage mechanisms have emerged as an effective means to mitigate the off‐target ...

Discovery of an Adaptive Neuroimmune Response Driving Itch and Fast Tick Removal with Implications for Preventing Pathogen Transmission

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Doehl et al. discovered an adaptive neuroimmune mechanism that induces itch in tick‐exposed guinea pigs, enabling rapid tick removal. This itch‐induced tick removal (IITR) is mediated by an adaptive cellular immune response and is independent of IgG, IgE, or TRPV1.

Xanthatin Targets CISD1 to Drive Ferroptosis and Mitophagy as a Dual Anticancer Strategy in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Triple‐negative breast cancer has a poor prognosis. Xanthatin directly targets and degrades CISD1, triggering ferroptosis through iron dysregulation. The concurrently activated mitophagy synergistically amplifies ferroptotic cell death. Xanthatin also demonstrates potent in vivo anti‐tumor efficacy with minimal toxicity, highlighting its therapeutic ...

Spin Hall Nano‐Antenna

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The spin Hall effect is a well‐known phenomenon in spintronics that has found numerous applications in digital electronics (memory and logic), but relatively few in analog electronics. Practically the only analog application in widespread use is the spin Hall nano‐oscillator (SHNO) that delivers a high frequency alternating current or voltage ...

A randomized placebo−controlled clinical trial of oral green tea epigallocatechin 3−gallate on erythropoiesis and oxidative stress in transfusion−dependent β−thalassemia patients

open access: yesFrontiers in Molecular Biosciences
β−Thalassemia patients suffer from ineffective erythropoiesis and increased red blood cell (RBC) hemolysis. Blood transfusion, erythropoietic enhancement, and antioxidant supplementation can ameliorate chronic anemia. Green tea extract (GTE) is comprised
