Pulsed Light Technology in Food Safety and Preservation: Principles, Applications, and Future Directions

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
Pulsed light technology uses short high‐intensity broad‐spectrum flashes (200–1100 nm) to inactivate microbes via DNA damage. It preserves food quality, extends shelf life, and works on liquids, meats, and produce, often combined with other hurdles for enhanced efficacy.

Non‐fullerene acceptor aggregation regulation via additives dipole moment leads to 19.9% power conversion efficiency in bilayer organic solar cells

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Additives interact with non‐fullerene acceptors to modulate their aggregation behavior and molecular orientation via optimizing crystallization kinetics. The optimized morphology effectively suppresses charge carrier recombination and enhances charge transport. Notably, 2‐chloro‐1,3‐dibromobenzene with the dipole moments of 2.56 D enables the PM6/L8‐BO

Advancing super‐resolution stimulated emission depletion microscopy with luminescent lanthanide nanocrystals

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
The state‐of‐the‐art research advances and its cutting‐edge application in super resolution stimulated emission depletion technology based on luminescent lanthanide nanocrystals. Abstract Stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy overcomes the diffraction limit to reveal subcellular structures beyond the reach of conventional optical methods ...

Microbiome‐mediated plant‐soil feedbacks as a tool for resilient agriculture

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Translating plant‐soil feedbacks (PSFs) into reliable agricultural management requires shifting from input‐dependent practices toward endogenous, process‐driven crop resilience. To bridge this gap, we propose a predictive framework centered on three strategic interventions: engineering the crop holobiont, diversifying the soil habitat, and deploying ...

The plant microbiome: From ecological foundations to precision microbial engineering for sustainable agriculture

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
From ecological principles to precision engineering of plant microbiomes for sustainable agriculture. The plant holobiont integrates diverse microbial niches (including rhizosphere, endosphere, phyllosphere, seed, and aerial‐root mucilagesphere), host genetics (namely M genes), and host metabolites. Furthermore, molecular dialogues, including rhizobial
