CHILLING: Continuum Halos in LVHIS Local Irregular Nearby Galaxies
Context. Dwarf galaxies, due to their shallow gravitational potentials, provide critical environments for studying feedback mechanisms from star formation and its impacts on dwarf galaxy evolution.

Abstract The Cassini spacecraft spent 13 years orbiting Saturn, quasi‐continuously measuring Saturn's radio emissions. One of the key elements of the radio spectrum at Saturn is the Saturn Kilometric Radiation (SKR), and several studies have been written on events called Low Frequency Extensions (LFEs) which represent strong, continuous extensions of ...

An infrared study of a sample of optically selected galaxies [PDF]
Infrared and optical photometry of a complete sub-sample of 194 galaxies in the Anglo-Australian Redshift Survey is presented. The Colour-Redshift diagrams are constructed and used, in a self-consistent manner, to reduce the data to zero-redshift colours

A search for the most massive galaxies: double trouble? [PDF]
We describe the results of a search for galaxies with large ({approx}> 350 kms{sup -1}) velocity dispersions. The largest systems we have found appear to be the extremes of the early-type galaxy population: compared to other galaxies with similar ...

A Survey of Galaxy Pairs in the SDSS Photometric Images based on Faster-RCNN
Galaxy pairs hold significant importance in understanding the evolution of galaxies, and the extensive search for a large sample of galaxy pairs is meaningful.

Nanoscale space weathering features in mature lunar soil revealed by TEM and APT
Abstract Space weathering significantly alters the optical, chemical, and structural properties of lunar regolith at micro‐ and nanoscales; yet detailed nanoscale variability within individual soils remains underexplored. Here we apply transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atom probe tomography to four mineral grains (olivine, ilmenite, and two ...

A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

The relationship between Gas and Galaxies [PDF]
We have investigated the 2D 2-point correlation function, ƐAG, between low column density Lya absorbers and galaxies at a redshift z ~ 1 for the first time.
