HST/ACS observations of the old and metal-poor sagittarius dwarf irregular galaxy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We have obtained deep color−magnitude diagrams (CMDs) of the Sagittarius dwarf irregular galaxy with the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) on board the Hubble Space Telescope. The new diagrams show for the first time the star formation history of SagDIG.

Galaxy Evolution in Local Group Analogs. I. A GALEX study of nearby groups

open access: yes, 2009
Understanding the astrophysical processes acting within galaxy groups and their effects on the evolution of the galaxy population is one of the crucial topic of modern cosmology, as almost 60% of galaxies in the Local Universe are found in groups.

The Spatial Homogeneity of Nebular and Stellar Oxygen Abundances in the Local Group Dwarf Irregular Galaxy NGC 6822 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
To test the existence of a possible radial gradient in oxygen abundances within the Local Group dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 6822, we have obtained optical spectra of 19 nebulae with the EFOSC2 spectrograph on the 3.6 m telescope at ESO La Silla.

The CO contents of dwarf irregular galaxies

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1987
A search has been conducted for CO in 16 dwarf irregular galaxies selected to span a wide range of infrared luminosity and color. CO was detected in six dwarf galaxies spanning the entire range in optical color and IR luminosity. The dwarf galaxies extend by three orders of magnitude in luminosity the correlation between IR and CO luminosities found ...

An Evaluation of Programmed Procedural Fidelity Errors on Data‐Based Decision‐Making During Precision Teaching

open access: yesBehavioral Interventions, Volume 40, Issue 4, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Research employing parametric analyses of fidelity have demonstrated that some behavior analytic procedures maintain their effectiveness when procedural fidelity is reduced. To date no research has experimentally explored the impact of procedural fidelity errors in Precision Teaching.

A Multiwavelength Portrait of the 3C 220.3 Lensed System

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The 3C 220.3 system is a rare case of a foreground narrow-line radio galaxy (“galaxy A,” z _A = 0.6850) lensing a background submillimeter galaxy ( z _SMG = 2.221).

Diverse Galaxies Lithograph [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This Hubble Space Telescope image shows the diversity of galaxies in the universe. A huge elliptical galaxy, designated ESO 325-G004, dominates the image.
