CEERS Key Paper. III. The Diversity of Galaxy Structure and Morphology at z = 3–9 with JWST
We present a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of the morphological and structural properties of a large sample of galaxies at z = 3–9 using early James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) CEERS NIRCam observations. Our sample consists of 850 galaxies at z

Diffuse Ionized Gas in the Dwarf Irregular Galaxy DDO 53
The spectral characteristics throughout the dwarf irregular galaxy DDO 53 are studied. The results are very similar to those for other irregular galaxies: high excitation and low values of the [SII]/Halpha ratio.

Evolutionary paths among different red galaxy types at 0.3 < z < 1.5 and the late buildup of massive E-S0's through major mergers [PDF]
Some recent observations seem to disagree with hierarchical theories of galaxy formation about the role played by major mergers in the late buildup of massive E-S0's.

Global properties of irregular galaxies
We present optical and radio observations of global properties for a sample of noninteracting irregular galaxies and a few comparison objects. Program galaxies were chosen primarily on the basis of their blue colors and thus may be expected to represent systems with high rates of star formation.

The star formation history of the Sculptor Dwarf Irregular Galaxy [PDF]
[abridged] We study the resolved stellar populations and derive the SFH of the SDIG, a gas-rich dwarf galaxy member of the NGC7793 subgroup in the Sculptor group. We construct a CMD using archival HST observations and examine its stellar content.

What Does the Milky Way Look Like?
In spite of much work, the overall spiral structure morphology of the Milky Way remains somewhat uncertain. In the last two decades, accurate distance measurements have provided us with an opportunity to solve this issue.

Magnetic Fields in Irregular Galaxies [PDF]
AbstractRadio data of large irregular galaxies reveal some extended synchrotron emission with a substantial degree of polarization. In the case of NGC 4449 strong galaxy-scale regular magnetic fields were found, in spite of the lack of ordered rotation required for the conventional dynamo action.

A Survey of Galaxy Pairs in the SDSS Photometric Images based on Faster-RCNN
Galaxy pairs hold significant importance in understanding the evolution of galaxies, and the extensive search for a large sample of galaxy pairs is meaningful.

The Dwarf Irregular Galaxy UGC 7636 Exposed: Stripping At Work In The Virgo Cluster
We present the results of optical spectroscopy of a newly discovered H II region residing in the H I gas cloud located between the dwarf irregular galaxy UGC 7636 and the giant elliptical galaxy NGC 4472 in the Virgo Cluster.
