Well-Distributed Sequences: Number Theory, Optimal Transport, and Potential Theory
The purpose of this dissertation will be to examine various ways of measuring how uniformly distributed a sequence of points on compact manifolds and finite combinatorial graphs can be, providing bounds and novel explicit algorithms to pick extremely ...

Sol–gel‐derived ZnO–rGO hybrid nanoparticles enable Al7075 powder‐metallurgy composites to achieve concurrent gains in hardness and thermal conductivity while markedly lowering friction and wear. The hybrid architecture couples ZnO‐based load support with rGO‐assisted lamellar sliding and heat spreading, revealing a promising route toward lightweight ...

Theory and applications of a functional from metric geometry
For positive $\alpha$, and for complex measures $\mu$ and $\nu$ on R$\sp{n}$, define $J\sp\alpha(\mu,\nu)=\int\int\vert x-y\vert\sp\alpha\ d\mu(x)d\bar \nu(y)$.

Real–Time Imaging of Decimetre–Resolution 3D Seismic Volumes [PDF]
The 3D Chirp sub–bottom profiler acquires a true 3D seismic volume with decimetric horizontal and centimetric vertical resolutions, providing an ideal platform for shallow–water engineering, archaeology, military, and geological studies.

The Dilemma of the Rapid Variations in CO2 in Greenland Ice Cores (Abstract)
Stauffer and others (1984) observed in the Greenland ice core from Dye 3 CO2 variations between low values in the range of 180-200 ppm volume and higher values in the range of 240-260 ppm volume, over a period tentatively dated to 30 000 ...

X‐ray computed tomography reveals how process‐induced defects evolve from green to sintered states in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF)‐manufactured 17‐4PH stainless steel. Internal porosity, weakest cross‐sections, and fracture locations show strong correlation with tensile performance, demonstrating the potential of computed tomography (CT)‐based ...

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,
