Irrigation Water Requirements of Lawns
Journal of the Irrigation and Drainage Division, 1965Irrigation water requirements for lawn grasses can be estimated by an empirical formula when adequate climatological data are available. The modified Blaney-Criddle formula can be used for this purpose. This procedure is explained and recommendations are made for the use of the results in accordance with the lawn condition desired.

Journal of the Irrigation and Drainage Division, 1972A method is given whereby the water requirements of a rostered irrigation scheme can be determined by considering the length of the roster period and the calculated soil moisture deficit at which irrigation is applied. From this the storage likely to be needed can be calculated. The method is computer processed so variations can easily be studied.

Water Requirement of Irrigated Garlic
2007 Minneapolis, Minnesota, June 17-20, 2007, 2007A replicated field trial was conducted on the west side of the San Joaquin Valley to determine the crop coefficient and water requirements of irrigated garlic. Irrigation systems used included simulated furrow irrigation, subsurface drip irrigation, and surface drip irrigation.
